Getting here

By car
Take the A8 and exit for Nazaré. From Lisbon it is about 1 h 15. Free street parking in the surrounding roads — in July and August it takes some patience, and the car park by the market is usually the better bet.

By coach
Rede Expressos connects Lisbon (Sete Rios) to Nazaré in about two hours, with several departures a day. The terminal is a few minutes on foot from the house.

By train
Nazaré has no station. The nearest is Valado dos Frades, about 8 km away, with a bus or taxi connection.

From the airport
Lisbon airport is about 1 h 30 by car. On public transport, the simplest route is the metro to Jardim Zoológico and a coach from Sete Rios.
Frequent questions
What time can I check in?
Check-in is from 16:00 and check-out is until 11:00. If you arrive earlier, leave your luggage with us and head to the beach — no waiting in the street.
What if I arrive late?
Let us know in advance and we will arrange your arrival. Just add your estimated time to the booking or send us a message.
Is bed linen included?
Yes, in every room, private and dorm alike. Towel included.
Are the bathrooms shared?
Yes. They are communal bathrooms, shared by the rooms in each block, with a shower and hot water. No room has a private bathroom.
Can I cook?
You can. The kitchen is equipped and free to use, with a fridge, hob and whatever else you need. We only ask that you leave it as you found it.
Is there parking?
We have no car park of our own, but there is free street parking around the house. Outside high season you will almost always find a space at the door.
Do you take children?
Yes. The family rooms exist precisely for that. Tell us the ages when you book so we prepare the right room.
How do I pay?
When you book directly through this site, payment is processed securely at the time of booking or on arrival, depending on the rate you choose.
